Hockley Open Competition Rules




  • Every competitor must have a minimum of 162 holes on their WHS account in the 12 months prior to the competition, of which at least 54 holes must be from competitive play.




  • Entries are not confirmed until payment has been made. Payment must be completed online or by BACs if online payment is not possible.




  • The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without providing a reason.




  • Appropriate dress code is required on the course, and respectful attire must be maintained in the clubhouse.




  • Any dietary requirements must be communicated to the Club prior to the day of the competition. If these requirements are not received in advance, the Club may be unable to provide alternatives.




  • The Club will make reasonable efforts to accommodate tee time requests, but these cannot be guaranteed.




  • Entrants are only eligible to win one prize per competition.




  • All players must adhere to the Rules of Golf and any local course rules in place on the day.




  • Mobile phones and electronic devices should be used considerately and in line with Club policy.




  • Any disputes or decisions regarding the competition will be at the sole discretion of the Club or Competition Committee.
