• The competition is open to amateur members of recognised golf clubs.


• Entrance fee Visitors £90 including lunch, Members £66.50 including lunch - entries are not confimred until payment has been made.


• Entries will be limited to 66 and decided by handicap ballot if oversubscribed.


• Competitors must have returned a minimum of six qualifying rounds (108 holes) within the previous twelve months.


• Entries must be submitted online at www.hockleygolfclub.com/open_competitions


• Competitors are entitled to one practice round during the two weeks prior to the event, booked through the Professional Shop on 01962 713165 opt 2.


• Play will be in groups of three. Start sheets will be emailed to competitors and published online after the closing date.


• The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry without explanation.


• In the event of a tie after 36 holes, a sudden death playoff will take place over holes 1, 2, 3, 17 and 18.


• Dress Rules on the course require golf shirts with collar, roll neck or turtleneck and sleeves, tailored shorts mid to knee length, sports socks of any colour full length mid length or ankle style, smart golf attire at all times, and no denim type trousers at any time
