Temporary Club Local Rule

Friday 19th January 2018

Given the extremely wet conditions, borehole work has recently been carried out on holes 6, 7 & 15 to help areas of our greens drain better. Until further notice if a player’s ball lies in such a condition, or if such condition interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 25-1b(iii): Abnormal Ground Conditions - Relief.

Pitch Marks

At this time of year, it is great to see so many members and guests enjoying our course and club overall. However, we are quickly seeing signs of the increased traffic with the number of unrepaired pitch marks on greens now already at alarming levels.

We remind all members and guests that it is their responsibility to repair their pitch marks on greens, as a means of caring for the course and respecting their fellow golfers and the course team.

It's good practice to repair at least one additional pitchmark - your fellow golfers and the course team will appreciate it!

Thank you for your attention to this.
