The Golf Shop at Hockley offers you the latest in equipment, fashion and advice. Whatever your golfing needs, we are confident that you will find the answer by visiting our Professional’s shop. The Pro Shop also offers a 10% discount to societies on any prizes they purchase from us in advance of their Golf day at Hockley.
Golf Pro - Gary Stubbington
Gary has been at Hockley since 2003 and is a fully qualified class AAT member of the PGA and Chairman of the HPGA. He attends regular PGA seminars keeping up to speed with all aspects of the ever growing golf industry. He is supported in the Pro Shop by his wife Tracy, son Jack and PGA assistant Gary Mills.
He has been a professional in Hampshire for 32 years and played on the European Tour for a number of years, winning the Trinidad & Tobago Open Championship in 1986 and the PGA South Region Order of Merit 2 years running in 1998 & 1999. He has lifted the Hampshire Strokeplay Championship three times, The Hampshire Alliance crown on four occasions and more recently the Hampshire Matchplay Championship, as well as winning countless Hampshire PGA pro-am events.
Gary has majored in teaching and has worked with some great teachers and players. He continues to coach the county junior’s Under 18's Tournament squad.

Buggy Hire
We have 2 buggies at the club that are available for rental. Please call the Professional shop if you would like to reserve one. The cost of a buggy to visitors is £25 per round. We also have Pull trolleys for hire – cost £3 a round or £5 for all day

The extensive stock for Men, Women and juniors from leading manufacturers such as Nike,Footjoy,Lyle & Scott Green Eagle Range & Stromberg is designed to cater for all tastes and ages. Gift vouchers are available for shop purchases and/or golf lessons
Hockley Professional shop offers the latest in technology from top manufacturers including, Cobra, Cleveland, Ping and TaylorMade - woods, rescue irons, traditional iron sets, wedges, putters – whatever you need we stock it.

We sell pull trolleys from £24.99 to a selection of electric trolleys, including the top of the range Powakaddy, Hill Billy and Motocaddy. We keep a full range of Powakaddy bags and accessories. Please call in for expert advice from our Professionals
