Hockley is a James Braid designed course set on 250 acres of historical chalk downland overlooking Winchester the ancient capital of Wessex.
We are a private members club established in 1914 and are pleased to welcome visitors and society groups to our club.
Complete your enjoyment with a visit to our well-stocked Professional Shop, a meal in our restaurant or simply a drink and a snack in the bar.
We are pleased to remind members and visitors that Hockley is a particular delight to play during the winter months.
The tees, fairways, and greens usually remain in excellent condition due to the free draining chalk. Players will generally be using grass tees and playing to proper greens. Trolleys and buggies are only rarely restricted, and very few days are lost to extreme weather conditions.
The Delhi Cup was held on Saturday 18th May, and was won by Ryan Henley from Stoneham at the 1st extra hole play-off.
