We are proud to be able to offer our downland golf course which is in excellent condition 12 months of the year. Hockley also has a very active golfing calendar, a varied selection of social events and Professional tuition available. The structure is managed and supported by our team of staff and committee members who are working together to uphold the traditions of golf and its environs.
A few 5 & 7 day membership vacancies are currently available. Our joining fee (normally £750) has been temporarily suspended. Please either, telephone The Secretary to discuss the procedure for membership in more detail or to arrange a visit. Alternatively, complete the proposal form with as much detail as possible and e-mail or post it to The Secretary.
Annual subscriptions are with effect from 1st April 2010/2011. The financial year at Hockley runs from 1st April. Any subscriptions for new members after that date will be charged on a pro-rata monthly basis.
Membership Information
Full Member - £1,003.71 wef 1 April 2010
Members over 18 years of age who have full playing and voting rights.
5 Day Member - £802.06 wef 1 April 2010
Members over 18 years of age who shall have full playing rights Monday - Friday inclusive of Public Holidays and the practice facilities and Clubhouse at weekends.
Country and Clergy Member - £501.85 wef 1 April 2010
Playing rights as for full members (residence outside 65 mile radius)
Special category for Clergy.
Intermediate (18- under 25 years) - £301.11 wef 1 April 2010
Members over 18 and under 25 years of age as at 1st April
Junior - £100.00 wef 1 April 2010
Members under 18 years of age as at 1st April
